In addition to the well-known Tremolo parameters such as the depth of effect, rate and total lute, the Gravitas offers a few useful additional functions. By means of ModuShape Engine, the LFO of the modulation effect can be processed precisely by selecting the respective half of the waveforms between sine, rectangle and pulse by means of a Toggle switch and determining the time ratio between the two wave halves by means of a Sway controller. On Tremolo sounds there is a standard tremolo and a harmonizing Tremolo effect on board the Gravitas. The Standard Tremolo produces a homogeneous Tremsound, while the Harmonic Tremolo separates the incoming signal at heights and depths and reproduces it by 180 degrees. Depending on the position of the S\/B\/H Toggle, either Standard and Harmonic Trem are activated separately or even together. All parameters of the Tremolo and the modulation can be easily controlled by expression pedals. The front DIP switches determine whether the respective controller is influenced by the expression pedal and whether the effect is to increase or decrease from the set value when the pedal is actuated. Last but not least, the Chase Bliss Gravitas offers a connection for midi or tap switches as well as the possibility to store two presets by means of a lower toggle switch for later uses. Overview: . The core of the modulation of the condor is the so-called ModuShape function. The ramp behavior of the vibrato effect can be adjusted via two individually assembled waveform halves, while the warp controller determines the peak of the waveform. The front-side DIP switches can edit any parameter of the Chase Bliss Condor and optionally control it in the ramping behavior (Rise or Fall) or assign it to the control via CV\/Expression. If no parameter is assigned to the ramp function and the front drive switch is activated, the Condor acts as a clean boost or overdrive. The left foot switch acts as a bypass switch for the drive effect, while the extensive EQ section of the Condor with various settings for bass mids and low pass filters as well as selectable Notch frequency from 150Hz to 4kHz offers further possibilities of sound shaping.
