The Ashdown John Myung Signature Double Drive Pedal was developed in collaboration with John Myung of Dream Theater. This dual-channel pedal focuses on clarity balance and musical drive. Drive 1 uses overtones to add heat and detail in the middle range, allowing your bass to be confident in a mix without compromising definition. Drive 2 introduces a vintage-like fuzz characteristic with extra sustain allowing you to continue in the upset area while maintaining weight in the low range. Both channels can be used separately or stacked which offers you practical options for changing sounds during a set or shaping layered tones in the studio. Double VU-meters make gain staging easy by displaying input and output levels at a glance which maintains consistency between different basses and setups. With its robust steel construction and a transformer-insulated DI output, the Double Drive is designed to integrate easily into professional rigs and suitable for regular use.
