Chase Bliss Audio Condor

Even if the control panel of the Chase Bliss Audio Condor initially seems to be based on classic equalizer parameters, the Condor offers far more than just pure frequency corrections. Because thanks to extensive modulation possibilities, DIP switches for assigning individual parameters to ramping or expression pedals as well as the additional Boost function make the Condor a Tremolo, Vibrato, Overdrive, Clean Boost and much more. The core of the modulation of the condor is the so-called ModuShape function. The ramp behavior of the vibrato effect can be adjusted via two individually assembled waveform halves, while the warp controller determines the peak of the waveform. The front-side DIP switches can edit any parameter of the Chase Bliss Condor and optionally control it in the ramping behavior (Rise or Fall) or assign it to the control via CV/Expression. If no parameter is assigned to the ramp function and the front drive switch is activated, the Condor acts as a clean boost or overdrive. The left foot switch acts as a bypass switch for the drive effect, while the extensive EQ section of the Condor with various settings for bass mids and low pass filters as well as selectable Notch frequency from 150Hz to 4kHz offers further possibilities of sound shaping.
