The original Electro Harmonix Superego offers everything possible to provide experimental guitarists with an enormous variety of twisted sound effects ranging from everlasting hold effects to flowing Glissandi to classic synthesizer effects. For this purpose, the Superego takes individual fragments of the incoming signal in the form of played tones or chords and repeats them in an endless loop as long as the effect is active. The sample is optionally selected via the foot switch in the momentary and latch mode, while the car mode automatically selects and holds played tones. In addition, the Superego offers an additional effect loop for grinding external effect pedals that influence the wet signal of the pedal and do not limit creativity.
