With the EVH 5150III LBX Head, Eddie van Halen presents a compact “Lunchbox” version of his legendary electric guitar amplifier that doesn’t match their big siblings. With full tube design, two channels and 15 watt power, the compact top part is equipped for the band sample or the appearance exactly as for the jam session in the home living room. Blue and red for the Gain-Nirwana. The two-channel preliminary stage of the EVH 5150III LBX is equipped with five ECC83S tubes and supplies typical van Halen sound. The blue “Crunch” channel starts with a rich overdrive, whose dynamic playback is the perfect basis for rhythm reefs. The red “Full Burn” channel releases the entire Gain reservoir of the tube top and delivers a serene “Brown” sound that lets Soli sing with endless sustain or presents modern reefs with precise articulation. In addition to the 3-band sound control, Presence and Resonance controllers are ready to adjust the sound, which influence the reproduction of heights and bass in the final stage.
