In terms of construction, EVH sets on a lin Decor and a screwed Quartersawn-Maple neck with oil finish, whereby the slim "EVH Modified C" profile and the compound grip board radius create the best conditions for an extremely easy-running playability. With an EVH Wolfgang Humbucker directly screwed into the body wood, the EVH Frankie delivers hot rock sounds on the guitar amplifier, the flowing solo lines and virtuoso tappings as well as tightly played reefs. As a real super-strat, the EVH Frankie also has a Floyd Rose Double-Locking-Tremolo with D-Tuna, which not only works absolutely detunable, but also allows quick and precise tuning to Drop-D.
