Following the popular design of the Stratocaster, the Erle-made body of the Telecaster Deluxe was also provided with a Belly Cut to improve the play comfort of the instrument played both on the belt and on the lap. Also unique for this telecaster version is the large headstock of the CBS era, while the modern fingerboard radius of 9.5 inches ensures simplified bendings on the 21 Vintage Tall buns of the maple fingerboard. Compared to conventional humbuckers, the two double coilers with CuNiFe magnets create a brighter sound with clear bonds of the single coil and convince with their increased output. Both wide range humbuckers are controlled via separate controllers for volume and tone. Hardware & parts. In contrast to the traditional ashtray of the Telecaster, the Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe is equipped with a Pure Vintage 6-Saddle Hardtail bridge, which provides each string a single string rider for precise adjustment of the intonation.
