The Fender Hammertone Flanger produces one of the first known modulation effects for the electric guitar and recreates the iconic effect in a variety of ways. The classic Flanger effect from the subtle Swirl to the wild oscillating jet turbine can be precisely adapted to any conceivable application via the three controllers Manual, Rate and Depth. Additional control options are provided by the Res-Switch for a distinctive resonance boost and a type switch to select the effect type. The effect pedal accommodated in the sturdy aluminum housing has end-mounted connections that simplify the cabling on tightly populated pedal boards and also has a classic True Bypass circuit.
