Pedal, designed together with Bruce Egnater. U.S.-made NOS 6205 preliminary tube. Regulator for Tone, Gain, Tight, Bass, Treble and Level. Switchable boost function with controls for level and boost. Orange Jewel Status LED. Operation via optional 9V power supply. The Fender MTG: LA pedal at a glance. Strong rock reefs and hot lead sounds with authentic tube dynamics are the metier of the Fender MTG: LA Tube Distortion. Designed in cooperation with Amplifier Guru Bruce Egnater, the pedal is based exactly like the MTG Distortion on an analog circuit with an NOS 6205 U.S. pre-stage tube and produces classic Los Angeles 80s Rock Sounds with a distinctive "Appetite" character. A gain controller and a 2-band equalizer consisting of bass and treble controller are available for sound forming, while the Tight controller cleanses the low-end range to higher gain settings. In addition, there is a boost section on board the Fender MTG: LA, whereby the distortion circuit can be fired with additional signal strength for endless sustain.
