The G5622 has been modernised with modern details and is built to deliver classic Gretsch sounds on much louder volumes thanks to the chambered spruce centre block. In a double cutaway maple body you can expect high gain power and lightweight comfort in addition to excellent resonance and sustain. Those vibrations are captured by a few Black Top BroadTron humbuckers singing with high tones and harp dynamics. With enough output punch on tap they are great for driving solos with one note jazzy leads or mellow chord patterns.
