Designed specifically for the desktop environment, the USB interface allows to record the typical Tube Drive. A special feature is the reaming. In this way, already recorded instrumental tracks can be processed directly with the IRT pulse, in order, for example, to dose the gain setting as desired in the overall sound image. Of course, this tube preamp can also feed a FOH pattern directly or be switched in front of a regular instrumental amplifier. The IRT pulse is also very extensive without further switchable sound filters and has numerous sound options, since the stimulus of a tube preamplifier is, as is known, in the interplay of input and output overcontrol. Thanks to the five switches, almost every genre can be easily covered. The Hot option lifts the Gain level and allows full-sing leads, while Bright also provides an extra dose of brilliance at low gain settings. In dark mode, the height range is reduced, while with activated EQ the predefined “IRT-Studio EQ Curve ” satisfies the bass and height range. When the emulation function is switched on, the Laney IRT pulse adds the sound characteristic of a 4x12” Cabinets. The bypass function directs the signal directly to the output via an HZ buffer and can be remotely controlled with optional foot switch.
