More than 25 years ago, the first Dual Rectifier with its brutal gain has made the hearts of guitarists beat faster. With the new Rectifier, Mesa Boogie is now launching a completely revised version of the legendary rock tube. The Amp is equipped with five Mesa 12AX7 tubes in the preliminary stage as well as four Mesa 6L6 end stage tubes. A wide range of sounds is possible thanks to the three channels, eight modes/voicings and a power of 100 Watt. This repertoire can be further refined by the 3-band-EQ for treble, mid and bass, which is available separately for each of the three channels. In addition, the Dual Rectifier has five loudspeaker outputs, of which two have 4, two 8 and a 16 ohm, an FX loop and the possibility to switch between the three channels with the 6-button flow switch included in the delivery. Five outputs for external switching, including an extra connection for a tuning device, provide new possibilities and additional variability in routing. The BIAS value from 6L6 to EL34 can be changed globally by means of tilt switches, or thanks to Rectifier Select and Tube Tracking individually for each of the three channels. The patented multi-watt function allows you to quickly and comfortably reduce the power from 100 watts to 50 watts in home or studio use. Eight selectable voicings provide a wide range of sounds from Clean to Raw & Modern to classic vintage. Due to this diversity, the Amp is ideal for hardcore and metal, it can cover almost all other genres thanks to its warm clean sounds and crisp crunch sounds.
