After many years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and seven-time Grammy Award winner John Mayer, Maryland's traditional company presents the PRS John Mayer Silver Sky MN Midnight Rose. The electric guitar, based on characteristic features of early instruments of the Sixties, presents itself as a successful homage to the involuntary vintage sound of the Sixties and combines the classic specifications of the era with Paul's future-oriented guitar design. Classic Double Cut Design. The PRS John Mayer Silver Sky MN Midnight Rose embodies the ergonomic feeling of traditional Double Cutaway guitars and highlights the timeless design on today's stages. In addition to classic features such as the top-load design and contours for arm and chest, Paul Reed Smith donated the typical 'Scoop' to the lower cutaway, which specifically benefits the game in the highest positions of the fingerboard. Bolt-On Maple Neck. The construction of the PRS Silver Sky follows the classic Bolt-On design. The four-piece maple neck with specially designed Silver Sky Neckplate has a maple fingerboard including classic Small Bird inlays for the collar marking.
