The compact Rig represents much more than just a simple multi-effect device and, if required, replaces the complete Rig, whereby the Tech 21 Fly Rig can also be easily used for PAs and mixers. With an overdrive inspired by the SansAmp Character Blonde, Plexi/Cali Distortion Modes for classic Crunch and High Gain sounds and additional Boost function, the Fly Rig 5 v2 covers all tonal desires from clear sounding cleans to steaming leads, while an additional reverb with adjustable room size and a delay effect for rich and full sound. The revised version of the TECH 21 Fly Rig 5 V2 now also offers an integrated tuner, an effect loop for grinding further effect devices and a switchable speaker simulation for direct recordings.
