📄 Product description from Music Store DE
With the Two Notes Le Lead Dual Channel Tube Preamp, the French sound and recording experts from Two Notes present a two-channel preamp for electric guitar. Inspired by modern high gain tube amplifiers, the two-channel preamp in the pedal format delivers both transparent clean sounds and powerful distortion for bold reefs and supporting soli. With various possibilities for sound control and extensive connections, the Two Notes Le Lead is the perfect tool for sound shaping in the studio and on stage. Le Lead. The heart of the two channels of the Two Notes Le Lead is the 12AX7 tube, which is well visible behind a viewing window, which gives the Preamp an enormous sound depth with natural warmth and dynamics. Channel A supplies a warm, transparent clean sound whose smooth articulation lets clean chords and arpeggies shine. A harmoniously tuned 2-band sound control is available to adjust the sound. In channel B, the Two Notes Le Lead delivers a brutal High Gain Distortion, which supports soli with powerful compression and represents modern reefs with tight precision. Through the 3-band sound control with semi-parametric centers, the sound character can be precisely adapted. Cold & Hot Fusion. A special feature of the Two Notes Le Lead Preamp is the “Fusion” mode, which is activated by simultaneous pedaling of both foot switches and offers two different functions. The “Cold Fusion” mode connects both channels of the tube preamplifier in parallel, so that the signal from channel A can be mixed with that from channel B to give strongly distorted sounds more definition or a different sound structure. In “hot fusion” mode, on the other hand, both channels are cascaded. In this case, channel A is available as booster for channel B, whereby the gain reservoirs of the pedal rise into the immeasurable and motivate for forging rough reefs or singing solos. In addition, both sound controls are fully available, so that the sound texture can be precisely adapted. Various connection options. The Two Notes Le Lead has a serial effect path by which further effect devices such as reverb or delay can be inserted into the signal path. In addition, the Thru output offers the possibility of tapping the unprocessed signal directly behind the input socket, while the symmetrical DI output allows direct connection to mixing consoles or receiving devices. Here, a switchable analog loudspeaker simulation based on the popular Two Note Torpedo is available, while the Ground Lift helps to interrupt unwanted Brumm loops. In addition, the Two Notes Le Lead is fully MIDI compatible so that the pedal can be easily integrated into complex stage or studio setups. The Two Notes Le Dual Channel Tube Preamp at a glance: . It is suitable for guitarists who appreciate a viable lead sound, especially for soli in more subtle styles such as hard rock or metal. On board are MIDI, a DI output, an effect loop and a headphone connection including switchable speaker simulation. For all this and first-class processing, the price is more than just reasonable.
